Remotely becomes Noma

Remotely becomes Noma

We have recently decided to change our name from Remotely Vans to Noma. Although nothing has changed with our overall business, we are excited to announce that we now are a team of 2, improved our help content and user guides to support your trip, launched a new website, and have a total of 6 vans (one to be complete by August). We are currently 2 guys in a shop, but we are grateful to be out of Jeff’s driveway - cliche start to our business, in Jeff’s driveway:

Digital Nomad Vans

We now have 4 vans in our Digital Nomad layout. These vans have a modern farmhouse style design and are great for guests who need the extra working space. We’ve improved on our original by adding extra water capacity, improving the overall usability of the van, and making many changes based on feedback we’ve received over the last year - thank you to all of our customers who booked our first van and provided feedback!

Nordic Nomad Van

We’ve launched our first Nordic Nomad van. This van is great for guests who need even more storage, Air Conditioning, and more room to sleep (6’5” bed). Although our customers loved our first van, some preferred to keep the bed always made. We decided to build the Nordic Nomad for customers who prefer the extra storage over living space.

Future Vans

Village Nomad: We’ve heard from many families that their Vanlife options are limited, so we are currently building what we are calling the Village Nomad. This van will comfortably seat and sleep 4 guests and will have a sleek, modern aesthetic. We hope to challenge the norm and give families an option to travel in style and comfort.

Forever Nomad: Our current vans comfortably go off-grid for up to a week at a time. Although this leads the industry, we are going to continue pushing the envelope even further. We don’t have all the details yet, but what we can say is that this will be a truly one of a kind van built for extended, off-grid stays.

More to come

We are excited to continue sharing Vanlife with the world and are constantly listening to our customers, improving our products, and looking to grow. To follow-along our journey, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram in the footer of this website.
